Answer questions

You have a question? We're here to help.

  • What are your opening times?

We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • How much does a place cost with you?

Information about fees can be found on the corresponding information page.

  • How can I register my child?

The community is currently working on a registration portal. Until it is completed, you can contact us at our email address or download a registration form.

  • When will I find out whether I have received a place?

We will inform you when we accept your seat. If you don't hear from us, you are on the current waiting list. Since we can only allocate new places when we move or at the end of the daycare year, this process may take time.

  • When should I register my child?

In fact, the waiting lists in Heimbuchenthal have become longer in recent years. Under these circumstances, we recommend that you arrange a registration appointment with us after the birth of your child. Regardless of whether your child should go to daycare or kindergarten.

  • Can I choose a group for my child?

Unfortunately not. The children are classified by the educational staff. The space capacity in the groups, the gender distribution and the age groups of the individual children are taken into account. You are welcome to express a wish. We try to take this into account if possible, provided the current space situation allows it.

  • I found a place in a daycare center. What should I do?

Congratulations! If you have also submitted a registration to us, we ask you to inform us of your decision. Other parents are happy about a place or being moved up on the waiting list.

  • I have the right to a daycare place. How do I proceed?

Since August 1st, 2013, children have a legal right to early childhood support in a daycare center or childcare center from the age of one (from their first birthday) until they start school. The claim is aimed at finding a place. Every facility or daycare that is eligible for funding under the BayKiBiG meets the qualitative requirements for early childhood support in the sense of the legal entitlement.

  • Is my child ready for crèche/kindergarten?

In fact, in rare cases it may happen that a child is not yet ready for separation from their caregiver. In such a case, the acclimatization process is adapted to the child's individual pace. In such a case, the trained staff would contact you and adapt the acclimatization concept to the child.

  • How do I receive financial support?

The providers of daycare centers can charge parental contributions in accordance with Section 90 Paragraph 1 of the Eighth Social Code (SGB VIII). The parental contributions must be staggered hourly according to the booking times. It is possible for the parental contribution to be covered in whole or in part by the public youth welfare agency upon request if the burden cannot be expected of the parents and the child for economic reasons, Section 90 Paragraph 3 SGB VIII. Families submit the application for this himself.

  • How do I apply for crèche benefit?

In addition to the contribution subsidy for the entire kindergarten period, the Free State of Bavaria introduced daycare allowance on January 1, 2020.

  • What is the contribution subsidy all about?

Bavaria relieves the burden on families when it comes to kindergarten fees. Parental contributions are subsidized by the Free State of Bavaria with €100 per child per month for the entire kindergarten period. The contribution subsidy is linked to the kindergarten year with a cut-off date. It applies from September 1st of the year in which the child turns three and is paid until they start school. The contribution subsidy reaches all daycare centers funded under the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG).
